Tips for a successful staining project:
Read all product labels before starting any project.
Make sure that the surface is cleaned of all dirt, stains, grease, etc.
Surface must be absorbent or it will not accept stain. Test wood porosity.
Repair or replace any split or worn boards.
Coat all 6 sides/ends of the boards for best results.
